PAY A GOOD DEED FORWARD

We know it is not possible for everyone to do a deed as noble as giving their life for their country as have the fallen who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. However, we want to continue their noble actions by paying their deed forward and keep their spirits alive.

Therefore, PAY A GOOD DEED FORWARD program was created.

HOW DO YOU PAY THEIR GOOD DEED FORWARD?

Either:

1.  Start a token program

2.  Order a token online and Pay it Forward

3.  Receive a token from someone else who is paying it forward to you and then Pay it Forward

4.  Donate directly to Ross A. McGinnis Endowment Fund

  VILLAGE BOARD

GALYNNEmail Galynn

Galynn is co-founder and Chairperson of Village To Village Foundation.  In December 2006, Galynn heard the news story about a young soldier who instinctively gave up his life and sat on a grenade; thereby saving the lives of his comrades. His name is Ross McGinnis.  When Galynn digested the news, she knew right then, she was going to find a way to bring people together.

Galynn grew up in Buffalo, NY, and Fort Collins, CO. She served in the US Army, being assigned to Ft Bragg, NC and Camp Casey Korea. Afterwords she lived in NY, MD, and now resides in VA.  Currently, Galynn works for the federal regulator of credit unions, NCUA.  Credit unions were designed to help people help each other.

Galynn enjoys working in her garden and being outside.  She loves traveling to new places in person and on her computer.  “Expanding my world evolved naturally, because I found it to be a very friendly place.  I was fascinated; everyone with their individual differences wanted all the same things. It makes my heart smile.”

DIANE

Email DaineDiane Griest is co-founder and Assistant Chairperson of Village To Village Foundation.  Her motivation for developing this successful organization comes through in her statement, “I enjoy doing for others and consider my life a success if I’ve made a difference in just one person’s life.”

At ages, 32 and 45 she was diagnosed with breast cancer, each unique from the other, yet she is still going strong!!  She participates in the National Race for the Cure, the 1st Saturday in June in Washington D.C.
